Job Description
About the role
As Network Connections Assessor reporting to the Customer Works Manager you will be responsible for:
Ensuring that electrical contractors and electricians’ applications for new or existing, connections on MLL’s network adhere to MLL’s connections requirements and network standards.
Reviewing and managing connection applications.
Develop understanding of relevant industry and MLL connection standards, and other related policies.
Ongoing review of connections related information (including as-builts) to ensure integrity and accuracy.
Prohibiting the livening of connections to the network if not all requirements have been met.
Communicating with external stakeholders.
Liaising with electrical inspectors who are undertaking inspections of connections.
Provide input to improving business processes and ensure that active business processes are being adhered to.

Desired Skills and Experience
About you
To be successful in this role you will need the following qualifications and experience:
Electrical Qualification (Electrical Inspector, or Electrician)
Electrical distribution network design experience.
Knowledge of Records of Inspection, and Certificates of Verification.
Familiarity with network connections processes and technical requirements
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbally.
Computer literacy and the ability to learn and use a variety of systems
Good team member skills, engaging in a professional manner at all times.
Innovation and problem solving skills.
Full Class 1 Drivers Licence
Be highly motivated and able to work unsupervised.
